A look around the unmistakeable & underrated Jaguar S Type. Not many people love it but I do, & thats what matters. Very distinctive on the road from a long distance unlike so many cars today. And this is true when viewed even from the rear which is another big plus. Jaguar design DNA running throughout the car is clear for all to see. Yes it has Ford stamped on it, yes it shares parts from within the Ford Parts Warehouse. Well, why the hell not, what is the point in extra design & manufacturing costs? None whatsoever. Everybody has either re-used or crossed over on components because it makes finacial sense. Yet, when Jaguar do it they get slagged off! People over look Audi, BMW & VW passing parts over to their umbrella brands. Bentley, Mini & Skoda to name just a few. The big grille got moaned about, hmmm what about those cars recently launched by Alfa Romeo, Bugatti (Veron), Peugeot and others. And most of the folk that slag it off have never driven one nevermind owned one! These cars are brilliant, reliable & well built. And can now be bought for little money if they have high mileage, something they would not achieve if they were unreliable! So, now I have all that off my chest no doubt someone will comment on how their car was terrible. Some probably were, but I know of other prestige makes that have failed to perform too. These include Land Rover, Audi, BMW, Nissan, Toyota, Toyota Lexus, Bentley & Rolls Royce failing to proceed!!!
